• Edward Ashford is infected with the Progenitor Virus and passes away, his son Alexander becomes the new master of the Ashford family.

• The Umbrella Corporation Management Training Facility in the Arklay Mountains is created.

• James Marcus is chosen by Spencer to become the director of the Management Training Facility within the Arklay Mountains. Marcus does not care for a job of training new employees but chooses the job anyway as a place of conducting his experiments.
