• Seeking Spencer's motives, Albert Wesker resigns from head Researcher and takes on a job as an infiltration agent.
• Much to Wesker's surprise, William Birkin's G-Virus research is approved by Spencer and is given his own laboratory deep beneath Raccoon City to facilitate the project.
• In Umbrella’s European Research Lab #6, a new project begins with the NE-α. The Lab comes up with the conclusion of implanting the parasite into a Tyrant.
• Priscilla McGee is born.
