Leon S. Kennedy and Jack Krauser are sent to South America by the US Government, in order to find and apprehend the powerful drug lord Javier Hidalgo, who was contacted by Umbrella, only to discover an entire village infected with the t-Virus.

Jack Krauser is believed to have perished in a helicopter crash, but under debated circumstances of how he survived, eventually begins working for Albert Wesker.
