• Ozwell E. Spencer, founder of the Umbrella Corporation, is murdered by Albert Wesker.
• While searching for Albert Wesker, BSAA agents Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield receive a tip on the location of Ozwell Spencer's hideout. When they arrive, they find that Wesker had already murdered Spencer. They desperately try to defeat Wesker, but they are overpowered. As Chris finds himself at the mercy of Wesker, Jill lunges at Wesker in an attempt to save her partner. Valentine and Wesker crash through a large window over looking a cliff, and plunge many feet into the waters below. Chris looks on, helplessly. The BSAA searches for their bodies for a following three months.
