One of the Base Majini Figure
The Base Majini serve as the security force for Tricell and Albert Wesker and are all infected by the Type 3 Plagas. They are encountered by Chris and Sheva at the underground facilities and the tanker. These areas both house the Uroboros missiles, which is probably what the Base Majini are meant to protect. They are very similar to the Militia in Resident Evil 4, as they both also use stun rods (occasionally with bullet-proof tower shields) and Rocket Launchers, the only major difference being that Base Majini wield AK-74 assault rifles.
[edit] Attacks and Arsenal
[edit] Stun Rod
- Swing - The Majini will swing in a backhand movement and attempt to stun the player, dealing heavy damage.
- Running Swing - The Majini will get a running start at the player, and backhand them with their weapon, dealing very high damage and knocking the player back. Town Majini can also use this attack (but they usually do less damage).
- Fire Burst - They will fire several bullets in a quick burst, dealing light to heavy damage, so taking cover is advisable. After firing a certain amount of time, they will reload, allowing the player to damage them.
- Club - The Majini use the butt of his rifle to push the player away, dealing moderate damage.
[edit] Rocket Launcher
- Fire - A fatal long-range attack that is highly dangerous. It can be avoided quite easily, however, and using sturdy cover (not the "no smoking" crates found in some parts of the tanker) will be enough to protect from the blast.
[edit] Bullet-Proof Shield
- Shove - A minimum damage attack, that is usually followed up by a stun rod swing.
[edit] Hand/Flash Grenade
- Grenade - They will throw a grenade, dealing moderate to heavy damage; while easily avoidable, it can be very annoying and dangerous, since they often throw it behind cover, forcing the player out into the open.
- Explosion- Used only when the Majini dies, the grenades strapped to the Majini blow up, which can kill a careless player.
- Randomly before dying, some Base Majini will literally swell and explode, not to be confused with grenades going off. Majini that were not loaded with grenades did this as well. They clutch their heads before doing so. The blast radius is relatively small, but the damage (should the player somehow stand too close) can be catastrophic.
