Carter

Carter was a researcher working for the Umbrella Corporation in Raccoon City in 1998. While employed at the research facility there, he helped to design an experimental reagent to counter the T-Virus.

During the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City, Carter, along with fellow scientist Linda, returned to the lab to obtain a sample of the vaccine, becoming trapped by the fire suppression systems. To protect himself and David King from the vicious Hunters roaming the facility, he released the Tyrant stored there, programing it to take on the Hunters and defend the humans.

Unfortunately, the Tyrant was more concerned with defending itself, since it could be destroyed with the press of a button on the bomb switch Carter had developed. The Tyrant killed Carter, destroying the reagent sample in the process.
