Replacing the Colt Python as Barry's weapon of choice in the Resident Evil Remake, the Colt Anaconda is a revolver similar to the Python, but is noticeably larger and is chambered for the .44 Magnum round, in addition to a synthetic, contoured grip. The Anaconda is obtained only by Jill Valentine, and only if Barry is killed. The Anaconda is capable of inflicting massive amounts of damage, but there are no extra .44 rounds available to the player, causing the Anaconda to become useless once all 6 bullets are fired.
This weapon also appears in Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles as the Magnum Revolver. Like all of the weapons in REUC, it can be upgraded in various ways, including an upgrade which allows it to carry 12 rounds it can also pierce through multiple enemies. This gun can also be seen during the intro of the Resident Evil 0 scenario Train Derailment, used by Billy. As is often the way with REUC, this is incorrect as the Silver Serpent is never obtained, or even seen, in Resident Evil 0.
