A "Crossover Area" is several areas that link to each other, usually they link later in the game or in another game.

The Ground floor map. Contains the Mansion, Courtyard, Guardhouse/Residence and the Helipad.

The Crossover area in the Outbreak games is found in both titles. It contains the areas seen in several scenarios: Outbreak, Hellfire, End of the Road (along with "Death's Door" and "Raccoon's Destruction" in Umbrella Chronicles)
