Gravedigger
From Resident Evil Wiki
A huge worm-like creature exposed to massive amounts of the t-Virus, the worm has mutated to enormous size. It retains the ability to burrow underground, and it prefers a subterranean environment, although it will surface if hunger overwhelms its natural instincts. It's size was so vast, that it destroyed the roads above in an earthquake like appearance.
The creature also developed four long mandibles, which it uses to drag prey into its mouth. It usually attacks by lunging or biting, using its huge bulk to force its prey into a corner, where it can trap and devour it. A similar creature was created on Rockfort Island; referred to as a Gulp Worm
The Grave Digger lays eggs in the ground and the sewers typically in clutches of 100. When they hatch, the larvae; known as Sliding Worms, will transform into new Grave Diggers themselves after a week.
