It's official. I HATE INSECTS!

Jim Chapman worked in the Raccoon City subway. Somewhat of a coward (like Brad), Jim had perfected the ability to "play dead," which caused enemies to ignore him (at the cost of an increased rate of infection). He carried a coin which he flips to make decisions. He was skilled at working out puzzles and could open complicated mechanisms that other survivors cannot access.

[edit] Personality

Jim is a kind, friendly and cheerful person, but is easily scared and sometimes gets stubborn and talks too much that easily annoys all but some of the group.

He is a highly intelligent person who enjoys nothing more than sitting down to a difficult crossword puzzle or other thought-provoking challenges to pass the time, although his manner of speech and choice of clothing gives others the impression he was raised in a rough environment.

Jim got along great with Cindy and Mark, but Alyssa, Yoko and David dislike him due to his lack of bravery.

[edit] Appearance

During the Outbreak, Jim wears his Raccoon City Subway uniform, consisting of his blue subway hat and jacket with a blue shirt and a tie, light blue denim jeans and stylish white sneakers.

[edit] Inventory

Personal Item: Coin

Jim always brings a coin with him at all times. If the player flip it during a scenario and get a Heads, they gain a 15% increase in the odds of a critical attack. This can be done a total of three times, increasing his critical hit chance up to 45%. However, if the player get Tails even once, it reverts back to 0%.

Extra Item (Outbreak File 2 Only): Lucky Coin

Jim's Lucky Coin boost his Critical Hit chance by 5% and also prevents weapons from being damaged as easily, even going as far as to stopping Handguns and Shotguns from being destroyed by Hunter Rs.

[edit] After Raccoon City

After the Raccoon City incident, Jim (in his good ending) is seen in a shoe store talking to an unknown person on his cell phone about going back to work, he then interrupts his conversation to tell the store assistant that he wants "the ones (sneakers) with the red stripes over on the right side of the third shelf." He then apologizes to the unknown person.
