Kendo Gun Shop is an area that was explored in the beginning of Resident Evil 2. It was Raccoon City's famous family run Gun Shop famous for it's Samurai Edge series of handguns. The handguns were custom made for S.T.A.R.S. officers. Owned by Robert Kendo (deceased).

Kendo Gun Shop was the first area you explore at the start of scenario A with either Claire Redfield or Leon S. Kennedy . Robert Kendo was the first person he/she will see. Kendo is defending his shop as Claire or Leon takes sanctuary there on the way to the Police Precinct.
Kendo is unfortunately killed not long after by a horde of zombies that breaks through the front window and rips him apart. After his death, Claire can take Kendo's bowgun while Leon can take his shotgun before leaving the shop. Alternatively, he/she can leave his body while the zombies are busy eating and pick up either weapon in the police station later.
