Loire was a small village in France. It had a population of some 1200, with a church being the only known landmark. A forest was known to be south of this village, on the other side which stood a castle.
History[]
Loire fell to a t-Virus outbreak on 2 October 1998, the result of agent Ada Wong interfering with HUNK's handover of the G-Virus to Dr. Christine Henry. To wipe out the t-Virus, the French military initiated Operation: Loire Tiger, the burning of the city with napalm.[1]
