- 22 - William Birkin injects the G-virus into himself in response to an assassination attempt on his life by the USS. As a result, this causes T-virus to escape via Birkin stepping over a suitcase containing the vials. Rats ingest the virus and begin spreading it, while the rest of the contents leaks into Raccoon City's water supply.
- 24 - Several people at J's Bar manage to escape the streets which was attacked by the t-virus, at least 2 people don't make it out. The survivors destroy a fuel truck and escape to a small canal, where they meet officers at the Apple Inn on the other side. The survivors use a bomb to destroy the zombies on Main Street, where the police in charge were killed or wounded.
- 25 [Morning] - The US Government takes action and dispatches the US Army which blocks off safe passage in and out of the city.
- 27
- Hordes of zombies 'overrun' the Raccoon City Police. The Umbrella Corporation dispatches their UBCS soldiers to 'assist the overwhelmed Police'. In reality, the UBCS is there to collect data.
- UBCS, USS and Police are overrun by the sheer numbers of the zombies; very few survive the fight. Project Nemesis is activated.

- Jill Valentine stays in her apartment while the zombies overrun the city; she decides she must escape. Project Nemesis begins to eliminate S.T.A.R.S members. Jill is infected with the t-virus after an attack from the Nemesis at the clock tower.
- A group of UBCS troops are sent to retrieve data on the T-Cameron Virus; they are killed quickly due to the creatures' ability to possess the consciousness of its victims. The creature escapes the city while disguised as a UBCS operative.

- Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy arrive at Raccoon City, not knowing of the outbreak due to the lack of protection from the guards by this date.
- Under command from Sergei Vladmir, a helicopter airdrops its "t" pods, with T1 hitting the RPD and the others hitting the Dead Factory to attack a US Military team.

- [Morning] - Claire, Leon and Sherry Birkin successfully escape Raccoon City via an underground tunnel.
- [Night] - Carlos Oliveira, a mercenary working under the UBCS, takes Jill to the church for her to rest.
- Umbrella USS commando HUNK leaves the sewers after 8 days to fight his way to the roof of the Raccoon City Police Department, carrying a sample of the G-virus. He gets extracted from the roof via Umbrella helicopter after firing a flare into the air from the roof.

- [Early Hours]:Jill wakes up, Carlos then heads to the hospital to find a cure for Jill's infection. Upon arriving at the hospital he finds out that Nicholai is alive. Carlos escapes the hospital before it explodes and cures Jill.
- After Jill is healed, she meets Nemesis again and jumps into the ravine. [see Canon in Resident Evil].
- Ada Wong escapes out of the sewers after surviving from the injuries she received from Mr. X and helping Leon S. Kennedy escape.
- Jill defeats Nemesis by causing him to fall into the industrial acid pool in the Dead Factory.
- Nicholai steals the helicopter. Jill is told that there is a missile about to destroy the city.
- Ada arrives at the Apple Inn to meet up with her contact only to find him to have committed suiced, Albert Wesker contacts Ada and she shows him the G-Virus sample, she then receives her Grapple Hook Gun.
- George Hamilton and three of The First Survivors survive the explosion in the University. The Thanatos is finally killed.
- George Hamilton and three of The First Survivors manage to escape the City via Helicopter piloted by two Firemen.
- Jill meets Nemesis again and manages to kill it with the experimental Rail Gun.
- Ada defeats a Tyrant before she escapes to the helicopter.
- Rodriguez escapes in the city in a transport helicopter but not before losing the container carrying the Nyx.
- David King and the rest of The First Survivors and Linda fight the Nyx and escape the City via Military Truck on the Highway.
- Jill and Carlos escape Raccoon on another chopper piloted by Barry Burton.
- Ada manages to get on the helicopter with the hook gun she receives. The helicopter had Sergei Vladimir and Ozwell E. Spencer.
- A nuclear missile launched by the US Government strikes Raccoon City, destroying it completely.

- The Raccoon City outbreak and Final Fantasy VII's Nibelheim Incident occur between the same dates but four years apart.
