[edit] Mansion
The trailer confirms that this will take place in the Spencer Estate (RE5). Strikingly, this bears many visual and thematic similarities to the Spencer Estate featured in the very first game, drawing inspiration from Resident Evil Remake . The only enemies so far revealed are the Anchor Wielder, of which you fight multiple, and the final boss - Albert Wesker
The mansion is used in the episode known as Lost in Nightmares, and will be one hour approx in length.
[edit] Africa
Desperate Escape takes place in Africa. It will feature Josh Stone and Jill Valentine as playable characters, and serves to fill in the story of how the two met up after Jill is freed by Chris Redfield.
[edit] Enemies
So far, the enemies are unknown. Capcom confirmed a return to the horror style. From contextual evidence in Resident Evil 5, such as Chris' remarks about him never seeing a Las Plagas creature before, it is likely that the Plagas will not be appearing. The gameplay may be similar to Resident Evil 4's and Resident Evil 5's, using their camera view and controls.
One enemy that has been revealed recently by IGN is what appears to be an Anchor Wielder, and he will be appearing in Lost in Nightmares. It has also been reported that there will be varying throwing enemies in Desperate Escape, whom Jill and Josh have to battle. [2]
[edit] New Content
[4] In addition to the Mansion, several other features will be included. These include
- A Revisited Mercenaries mode (The Mercenaries Reunion), possibly bringing in new characters, or using the Mansion settings
- 2 Different Costume Packs
- A new Figurine pack
- A new level known as Desperate Escape
