S.T.A.R.S. betrayal question. Edit

Hi.

Before I ask, I know about Wesker's overall character being somewhat of a power hungry maniac. That aside, I must ask something relating to his betrayal of S.T.A.R.S. in the first game.

Did Wesker even want to betray them, and should we note it in the article? I was asking because a line in the game suggested that he was irritated that he had to sacrifice S.T.A.R.S. to the zombies:

"Wesker: I think you’re a bit confused... I’ve always been with Umbrella. And S.T.A.R.S. were Umbrella’s... No, rather... mine. Little piggies. *(Chris gets angry.)* The Tyrant virus leaked, polluting this whole place... and unfortunately, I had to give up my lovely members of S.T.A.R.S...."

Anyways, the last line there made it seem as though he didn't like the idea of having to give up S.T.A.R.S. I was wondering if we should note this somewhere in the article. Weedle McHairybug 21:17, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, about that. I think he was just being sarcastic. Just because he knew it would piss Chris off. Cross Meets Arrows At The Union Flag! (talk) 01:20, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

In RE6Edit

Do you think Wesker (not Jr) will appear in RE6? Even through he was killed in RE5, it's still unclear if he's completely dead. Reasons:

1) He survived tons of bullets and rockets going at him while not powered by Uroboros, but died only by two when he is more powerful than ever before?

2) It's Wesker! He cannot die cause he's a symbol of RE.

So, any opinions? Fanina 14:38, April 10, 2012 (UTC)

Considering that Capcom have said there is no chance of the guy coming back even if fan demand is popular enough they will not bring him back, Capcom are pretty final when they say someone won't return or are dead. —Riley Heligo 14:44, April 10, 2012 (UTC)

1) He was OD'ing, got stabbed in the heart, fell into lava, was totallying loosing his mind, then got shot by two rockets in the head.

2) That's not really a reason

Capcom said he's not coming back as Riley said. He's dead.

How did Wesker have a son ? He have a woman ? —The preceding unsigned comment was made by Brasileiro do Brasil (talkcontribs).

Well, sometimes a man might do something to a lady, and that makes a baby.-- Forerunner 12:25, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
We don't know what exactly happened, although knowing Wesker, he doesn't seem to be the marrying type. Plus, he wasn't wearing a wedding ring, anyways. He might have simply seduced her, a'la Charlie Harper, or he might have... well, just took action without her consent. It's most likely the former, as Wesker's capable of manipulating people's emotions for him for his own gain (see what he did to Gionne), plus the bio for Jake Muller indicates that he joined the mercenary business because Wesker was not with them and thus did not receive much money to live their lives, which implies that she did seem to have some emotions to Wesker to be seduced by him. We'll find out when it's released. Weedle McHairybug 14:33, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
Wesker's not really the kind of person who'd seduce. Excella was attracted to him because of his power; Wesker simply allowed her to flirt with him. I agree that he's not the marrying type, and his abandonment of the mother suggests that it was a brief affair, though not a simple 'one-night stand'.-- Forerunner 16:12, April 16, 2012 (UTC)
Maybe Wesker is not a complete "father"? What if Jake was engineered artifically (probably even by Wesker himself)? Fanina 15:30, May 22, 2012 (UTC) -- Forerunner 03:17, July 3, 2012 (UTC)

Something's wrongEdit

Umm ... something went wrong with this page after putting the new layout thingie. Definitely needs to be fixed O.o Tyson120 08:43, May 8, 2012 (UTC)

Like what? The coding at the bottom telling you that there's no <references/> tag? That's not to do with the layout; it's just that I forgot to add it into the page - it's the code that puts your source material onto the page.-- Forerunner 10:01, May 8, 2012 (UTC) -- Forerunner 17:18, July 7, 2012 (UTC)
