Personally, I think that this is going to be pretty cool, although i will miss some of the live-action stuff.
There's nothing to miss. I am an avid fan of RE. I even liked the movies. But they turned them into Girl Power entranced action films. Resident Evil should have been a horror film, not an action flick. Since Capcom's doing this one, I think this will be the first "real" RE movie. (Not to mention the mini movie only released in Japan.)

I know the page says t-virus outbreak, but what about the g-virus? In the trailer you can see see a creature with a developed third eye. Correct if I'm wrong but isn't that a symptom of the g-virus? | OMG!!!!! Loved the new preview!!! Okay, sort this out:
Leon looks a bit weird, but it's acceptable, I think he got a haircut or something.
Claire looks different, not weird, but different.
Leon looked awesome when he was sliding and rolling, and the water part was also awesome.
Loved the Leon phrases: "Shoot em in the head", "Try not to get killed", and "I'm gonna wipe the T-Virus off the face of the earth".
I think there's gonna be another G-Creature cuz of the eyeball.
I think the terrorist is that dude that looks like James Marcus by half.
Can't wait for the part where Leon and Claire fight the G-Creature (it's inevitable, CAPCOM makes a monster, the protagonists HAVE to fight it)
Conclusion: THIS MOVIE'S GONNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Frankly, Leon has shorter hair during his first appearance in the preview, and he isn't the same Leon from RE4, as Mr. Takeuchi is on this job, but he still is similar to the RE4 version. His eyes are now BROWN!! Why? No idea, but you see it when he says, "shoot em in the head" and cocks his handgun. His eyes are blue, and I specifically classify him as "Mr. Blue" (as a variation to his signature color, blue). The only race (by possibility) that can have brown eyes, is Asian. Did our hero just turn into an Asian-American, or is it the fault of Capcom/Sony? How does this make him look more realistic, by putting in the impossible? And, Leon, he looks scrawny in my opinion during his first appearance in the new preview. So what happened? This has yet to be announced, but I'm complaining to Capcom tonight personally, via email.

Um, Asians aren't the only race with brown eyes. Blacks, whites, all races have brown eyes. And so I can say something resident evil related, Claire is HOT!!!!!!

| What about in the fact that he is entirely different than a real Leon that people have been complaining about? Could a man change THAT much in something as little as a year? Jun Takeuchi must've not looked at what a REAL Leon is because the major majority of fans are complaining that:
Leon looks like a hobo up close (as said by the person who uploaded the new trailer on YouTube)
That he has bags under his eyes (gasp)
He looks angry all the time
His face is messed up
CAPCOM, CAPCOM, what has our hero done to deserve a makeover done by Sony? He looks like he's been thrown into a dumpster, been face-probed by aliens with no taste of style, and then dumped into the sewers only to be "saved" by Sony into putting him into Degen without a better makeover. I have already despised Sony for having lack of careful decision making and planning and thinking outside the box, and now that I know it is their fault, my hopes for this movie are lowering. At least A Leon is in there, if not a REAL one.

| I found out what's wrong with Leon! It isn't the eye color orhair, but the face! His face is more gaunt and sloping, which means he's getting older (o_0That ain't good.)! According to the Wikipedia page, it'll be released straight-to-DVD in USeither November or December, West Eurasia isn't stated but probably DVD also... so... I guess someone could add the Jp version (English with Jap. subs like the games) to Youtube...Forerunner 10:13, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
