The bit with the REmake... I don't think they are actualy decomposing. I mean, perhaps the virus also stops decomposition. The closest I have seen to decomposition are Cerberi' with bones showing, but they could have got that by being bitten.

The second one is early in Code: Veronica... the Prison executes people every day (you only see one cabin, the rest are blocked by fire)... Look at those corpses when they get out... they can't have been put there any more than a day ago.Forerunner 04:43, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Just a question I'm not very clear about. Are these zombies actually like those in George A. Romero's? What I am trying to say is if they are re-animated corpses.

In this article, I have a hard time telling. It states things that somewhat relate them to living beings. For example, they are active until incapacitated by blood loss. On the other side, they also have characteristics of things that are no longer living. For this, we can say that they can still chase you around once half their body is destroyed. Are they the result of a mutation, but still alive or not? Thanks to those who help me. 190.35.102.204 18:50, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

The zombies are what started RE, and by Mikami, they'll end RE. Capcom's just brainstorming new ideas. But when RE ends (probably in later titles, such as 7, 8, 9), they'll let the zombies come back. And if they don't....well, the most we can do is cry, scream, blog about it, protest against it, or torch CAPCOM JP HQ.
