A Sacrifice to the Hell Fire was the title of a portrait depicting a nude woman[notes 1] being hung. It was bought by Police chief Brian Irons, who placed it above a fireplace in the Raccoon City Police Station's Operation Room. Shortly after buying it and bringing it back to the Police Department, Irons proceeded to leer at the painting perversely, which caused his secretary to be greatly disturbed, both at Irons' behavior and the overall subject matter of the painting. During the Raccoon City Destruction Incident, it was damaged by the heat from the fireplace, revealing a Red Jewel to be hiding behind it.
↑The localization of Secretary's diary A left it ambiguous as to the gender of the subject being hung, though the Japanese version makes it very clear that the subject was female.
