Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite
(Video game series)

"The tragic result of A.I.M.BRELLA troopers being overtaken by the symbiote, these now-corrupted soldiers have lost their sense of self. Infused with strength and aggression from the symbiote, they are formidable foes." -Profile Entry

The Symbiote-enhanced B.O.W.s (credited as Symbiote Army) are nonplayable creatures in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. They are the primary footsoldiers of the A.I.M.brella Corporation that follow M.O.D.O.K.'s orders at will.

Biography[]

This B.O.W.'s physical features include exposed and free flowing muscle tissue (similar to the Licker), patches of the Klyntar Symbiote on its body, white eyes, no mouth, and A.I.M.brella exclusive military gear. They come equipped with a Škorpion and an RPG-7 as their primary firearms.

When Spider-Man and Chris Redfield first infiltrated New Metro City's A.I.M.brella facility, they encountered two of them guarding the entry point. After the two of them, along with Frank West and Mike Haggar, confront M.O.D.O.K. for the Mind Stone, who is conspiring with the Dark Kingdom army led by Dark Messiah Jedah Dohma, four of them broke out of their containment units to attack the heroes. After these four B.O.W.s were slain, Nemesis-T Type came forward to confront the protagonists, to which a large unit of B.O.W.s broke out of containment to assist the tyrant until its defeat at the hands of Haggar (and the other three heroes).

Gameplay[]

As with the Ultron Drones, most of their attacks are relatively basic. Their basic moveset include forward slash attacks, a forward tendril attack, low kicks, and a ranged attack with their Škorpion. These B.O.W.s have a Level 1 Hyper Combo in which they unload the entire cartridge of their Škorpion onto the opponent, followed by three shots from their backup RPG-7.

Further Notes[]

  • This version of the B.O.W. bears a striking resemblance to Deadpool and Carnage. The concept of symbiote-infused soldiers with firearms was inspired by Agent Venom.
  • It is possible that along with the Symbiote, these test subjects have also been exposed to a variation of the Nemesis parasite, as evidenced by their tendril attack.
