BIO HAZARD 2 VOL.15 (Chinese: 生化危機2 VOL.15; Pinyin: Shēnghuà wéijī 2 VOL.15) is the fifteenth volume of a sixty-part manhua series published by the Hong Konger King's Foundation, and officially-licensed by Capcom. It was published on Saturday May 16, 1998.
"Both sides entered the final decisive battle between good and evil! The Profound Warrior had claimed the G-Virus detoxifier and fled with a trace! Commissioner Brian died! Finally, only Dr. William was left - G-END......"
The mutated Dr. William is hit hard from a blast by some sort of energy weapon. In reaction, it lets go of Leon. Ya Lan runs up to the creature to grab him; with everyone in the next carriage, the doctor moves on to catch up. The survivors successfully uncouple the carriages behind them, though Leon shows regret that they had to leave Ada's body behind, soon screaming out as he watches the carriage explode. Escaping out of the train tunnel, they leave the engine to meet Chris at a nearby helipad. Chris relays a message from Umbrella telling them not to waste their time fighting them.[excerpt 2] They all escape in the helicopter as the final attack on Raccoon City takes place.
After the attack, armed teams in hazmat suits search the city, obtaining biohazardous waste for storage. Three months later,[excerpt 3] the biohazardous waste has been moved to the technologically-advanced Asian artificial island, in an airport cargo terminal.[excerpt 4]
A team of four terminal workers go to inspect the suspicious crates. One of them touches the crate, only to be attacked by a giant claw, smashing through the crate from the inside. The other three workers run away in terror, only for a Licker Hunter-Killer to chase after them and slash them to pieces. It runs up a flag pole displaying the US flag, covering itself under it as though wearing it like a cape.
Outside of the city, a police presence builds up. Members of the newly formed "B.H.S.T." (生化危機特別行動小組) arrive on the scene to investigate the bodies. Fifteen minutes later,[excerpt 5] the corpses arise from the body bags just like Raccoon City.[excerpt 6] One of the B.H.S.T. members throws a lighter at the bodies, burning them alive. The team members are introduced as Chris, Dehne, Leon and Claire.
Meanwhile, inside the city, a man with a cybernetic right arm is thrown into a car door after being hit by an iron bar. A gang force him down while his arm is unscrewed and taken away from him. They pass the B.H.S.T. members as they continue down the streets. The team follow the men into a bar, and quickly start talking to a known smuggler in the city's slums.[excerpt 7] Increasing talk between Leon and the woman leads to hostilities, and a large man moves in behind Leon. Leon tears apart his mechanical right arm. An electric discharge keeps the other thugs away from him. Chris berates Leon over his conduct; Dehne takes pity on Leon as he allows Chris to shake him.
Elsewhere, the Joker takes an object with him, covered by a veil. He places it safely into a locker and removes the cloth, revealing it to be a human brain, being sustained by a capsule. The brain in its case is capable of talking, identifying itself as the very target of the global manhunt - God.[excerpt 8]
