BIO HAZARD 2 VOL.39 (Chinese: 生化危機2 VOL.39; Pinyin: Shēnghuà wéijī 2 VOL.39) is the thirty-ninth volume of a sixty-part manhua series published by the Hong Konger King's Foundation, and officially-licensed by Capcom. It was first published on Monday 2 November 1998.
The start of the volume confirms that the family of wild boars fled upon seeing Mólóng (the evil/demonic dragon - 魔龍), filled with fear.[excerpt 1] The dragon breathes out fire at Microsoft; Leon and Bǎiduō in the manner of a machine gun, but Leon protects himself and his friends by creating a bubble with his Ki. Throwing them into their own bubbles, he flies towards Mólóng, engulfed in a ball of flame generated by himself. Mólóng breathes fire on him, but he protects himself again. Leon responds by charging a ball of Ki and then firing it back at Mólóng as an orange beam of energy; his eyes glow a fierce red colour. The energy beam shoots straight past Mólóng, who flies away for the time-being, only to come about and head straight for Leon. It lands on the ground next to him, and begins to communicate with the B.H.S.T. member, introducing itself as one of the patron saints of the three 'tests' of the different space.[excerpt 2] It then tells Leon he must answer his question of what the man's intentions are. Leon tells the dragon that he intends to save the world from God.[excerpt 3]
Meanwhile, the artificial island's troops rally at the biochemical plant (生化工廠), where the other B.H.S.T. members are being held. Each one has been placed onto metal structures, with their arms forced outwards to resemble crucifixion. Leon appears in the facility, surrounded by troops. He charges a ball of Ki in his left hand, and then his right. As he fires the blasts, the men are knocked off their feet, and the structural integrity of the facility is put into question. In fear of Leon's superhuman powers, the troops flee. His father then appears in front of him. The two begin to fight in the air; every time their punches collide, it creates a bright flash of light. Leon's father is thrown into a wall, but he re-enters the fight by hitting his son in the back, sending Leon flying to the ground. As he prepares the coup de grace, Leon suddenly transports from being on the ground in front of him, to holding his head from behind. Leon releases energy from his palms, which inflicts considerable pain on the man. Leon shoots Leon's father, shocking the young man. Inzaghi/God follows her, revealing to Leon that she is completely under his control.
