D. C. Douglas is an American actor and voice actor who provided the voice of Albert Wesker for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles,[1] Resident Evil 5[2] and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.[3][4] He also voiced Wesker in titles such as Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D,[5] Resident Evil: Revelations 2,[6] Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds,[7] Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps and TEPPEN.[8]

Additionally, he narrated Wesker's Report Ⅱ in collaboration with Resident Evil Database.[9] Aside from voicing Wesker, Douglas provided the voice of The Player as well as the Umbrella Co. Commander in Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps.[10]

Douglas is also very conscientious of the Resident Evil fanbase and has produced several comedic videos for them. As of April 13, 2020, he posted a video alongside Roger Craig Smith and Nicole Tompkins where he gives some tips and advice to people around the world in how to use a face mask during the quarantine and lockdown within the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of the Resident Evil series, Douglas is known for his voice-over work in video games, commercials, cartoons and anime. Other video game roles include Raven from Tekken 6 through Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Legion from Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, Suguru Kamoshida in Persona 5, the Analytics Director in Monster Hunter: World, Grimoire Noir in Nier, Pod 042 in Nier: Automata, Azrael in BlazBlue, Zero in Zero Time Dilemma, Diego in Dead or Alive 6 and Burton Briggs in Borderlands 3. Douglas also provided both the voice and motion capture for the character known as the Uber Agent in NBA 2K14. In addition, his facial features were scanned and incorporated into the game.[11]

Cartoon credits include Chase in Transformers: Rescue Bots, Superman in Family Guy and Colonel Rawls in the final season of Regular Show.

Anime credits include Jasley Donomikols in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Shoot McMahon in Hunter X Hunter, The Professor in Cyborg 009: Call of Justice, Locus in Berserk, X Drake in One Piece, Yoshikage Kira in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable and Kanji Igari in Baki.

Douglas is also an on-camera actor with over 100 film and television credits.

Douglas has portrayed two characters on film that are loosely connected to Albert Wesker: Apocalypse kiss wherein he plays Adrien, a character the producers purposely made to look like Wesker[12] and Syfy's Isle of The Dead, a zombie film that Douglas helped produce and plays the main villain, Aiden Wexler, an homage to Resident Evil.[13]

On April 6, 2022, Douglas announced his departure from the role of Albert Wesker through an Instagram post.[14]
