If the player jumped off the Suspension bridge, a cutscene featuring Jill and Nikolai will play here, following which the player will have the choice of whether or not to shoot his helicopter down. If Jill tries to negotiate with Nikolai, he will fly away after the short dialogue between them. If Jill chooses to fight the chopper or the time of the selection comes out, than a battle will occur between the chopper and Jill. It can be defeated by a single accurate shot of the Rocket Launcher. After the helicopter cutscene, Carlos will enter the door and he will try send radio message. Exploring the locked manhole with ladder leads to the cutscene, where the countdown starts and Carlos separates with Jill. If not exploring the manhole and re-enter that room, Jill and Carlos will receive the message from the Barry Burton on the radio on the cutscene.
If the player pushed Nemesis off the bridge, a cutscene will play featuring Jill and Carlos instead. Jill will take instruction from Carlos on the surviving and further her way to the escape. Once Jill checks the ladder in the centre of the room a timer will begin to count down.
Regardless of which cutscene plays, the player will then receive a radar tracker showing the proximity of the Sterilization Operation missile.
