Shattered Memories (AC-003)

Shattered Memories (AC-003) is an Action card in Resident Evil: The Deck Building Game.^[1] It has a cost of 20 Gold.

Overview[]

Shattered Memories' effect is simple but very effective. It allows you to trash up to two cards from your discard pile. The card must be trashed after its effect is used, however.

Using this Action is essential for players using Jack Krauser or Leon S. Kennedy from the first Resident Evil: The Deck Building Game set, since their abilities both benefit from having smaller inventories. Overall, the card's effect is useful for any character, but especially when used alongside the effects of Rebecca Chambers. Rebecca's effects allow her to put any trashed cards in other players' inventories and later she can simply trash cards without being prompted. This can easily let her overwhelm a player trying to trim down their deck.
