Axe (斧 ono) is a melee weapon which is unique to the "flashback" scenario of Resident Evil Outbreak File #2.
Gameplay[]
It is unbreakable and fairly powerful, especially against the plant boss at the end of the scenario. It is much more powerful when in the hands of Mark or Jim due to their ability to swing with power or swing faster, respectively. It does extra damage if one can get close enough to the boss, and can also permanently kill off the vines that grab the player's legs during the boss fight. The Axe is differently colored from the one the Axeman, Al Lester carries. This is the only way the playable version of Axeman can use an Axe.
Locations[]
The axe is found in one of three locations;
EASY and NORMAL; Auxiliary Building 2F hall, on the floor at the end of the hallway.
HARD; Maintenance Access Route, hidden behind one of the weeds; It requires the lighter to see.
VERY HARD; Main Building Rooftop, on the air vent.
