Bio V Official

Bio V Official (バイオV公式 (こうしき) baio V kōshiki^?) was a Japanese iOS app which served to advertise the Japanese dub of Resident Evil: Retribution, there titled "BIOHAZARD V". Like Bio IV Official, it came with a custom filter game. Users were able to insert a selfie or other image into a poster for the film, as well as zombifying themselves. The images would then be shared onto social media as viral marketing.

The app initially required an iOS 4.0 compatible device. The Version 1.1 update added "Undead Paint", and changed the poster design for "Poster Maker". Following a change in policy by Apple, all 32-bit apps were removed from the App Store at the end of 2017.^[1]
