Laura Bierce was an American supermodel dubbed the "Hollywood Gem". Laura was a victim of the 2014 Sonido de Tortuga Island Incident, which saw the deaths or zombification of a number of visitors to the island taking part on the fourth season of Idol Survival.
Biography[]
Laura arrived on Sonido de Tortuga Island with the rest of Idol Survival's game show contestants and crew on board the White Castle yacht. Unbeknownst to most, the show's current producer, Mike D. Seaman, was in the pay of Shén Yà Pharmaceutical to track down an abandoned Umbrella laboratory on the island, with the personal desire of sacrificing everyone else to an escaped Bio Organic Weapon on live TV to attract the attention of bioterrorists.
On the night of their arrival, Laura went location scouting with the show's director, Matthew Espinosa, and met the island natives who's shaman ritualistically killed a chicken in front of her.[1]
Laura Bierce is first seen with the other models while on the island. When the staff was looking for Coco she informs them that she had a hangover. A little later during the night, Takeru Tominaga explored the jungle and found an infected Coco, blindly fleeing in terror he inadvertently ran straight into Laura. Taken aback by his unexpected arrival, Laura notices that Tominaga is frightened. She asks him about the matter and he mentions that he saw a zombified Coco. However, when she looked into the bushes she does not see anything. Assuming it was his imagination she slaps him for wasting her time and sexually harassing her before walking off.

After the competition starts, Laura notices a person and her cameraman goes to investigate them only for him to get eaten by a zombie. Laura recalls what Tominaga said and realized he was telling the truth and that the island really is filled with zombies. In desperation she tries to outrun the zombies and make it back to the camp only to find out that it's now overrun with the undead.

After seeing them, Laura realized that she needs to fight in order to survive. She then spots a shovel and uses it effectively to kill many zombies. However, she is eventually grabbed by one and nearly gets eaten only to be saved by Brown Anderson, the idol survivor instructor and former BSAA member. She then spots Alex in a costume and they each try to make it back to the boat and look for more weapons. When they reach it, they discover several other people made it to the boat including a dancer named Millie. Unfortunately they soon realize Alex was followed by zombies and after ordering the other survivors to hide below deck they use the weapons that Brown has in order to fight them off. Unfortunately Millie is eventually revealed to be infected and proceeds to zombify the other survivors who then emerge to attack Laura's group. While killing them, Laura and company realize they were low on ammo and were cornered. Running out of options they climbed on top of the ship to escape the horde, only for Alex to then lose hope and commit suicide. Brown is then grabbed by the leg and dragged off the roof leaving Laura as the only one on top. She manages to kill a few more zombies before running out of ammo and then throws her gun. Noticing the zombies are distracted eating Alex's corpse Laura takes the opportunity to dive into the ocean where to her surprise she finds Brown is okay but unconscious after hitting the water at a bad angle. With some effort she then manages to swim to shore with him. Believing he may have inhaled too much sea water she begins to give him mouth to mouth resuscitation only for him to begin kissing her causing her to get upset as she realizes he's been awake for a while now.
Later Laura formed a team with Brown Anderson, Zǐlì, Mayu and Tominaga to survive and escape the island. After Brown showed symptoms of zombification and attacked Laura he forced Takeru to shoot and kill him, entrusting the safety of the Laura and the other surviving girls to Tominaga before dying. Laura was visibly upset by this development as she had started to show signs of romantic feelings toward Brown but in the end knowing that killing Brown had been the right thing to do she agrees to vote in favor of Tominaga leading the group.
During the battle at the Umbrella facility between the Schraube Dämon and Morio Laura ran from the group after realizing she had become infected with the Jǐncan virus after her earlier kiss with Brown and was slowly becoming a zombie. Realizing this Takeru chased after her and eventually managed to locate her in one of the complex's many rooms. Despite her pleas for him to kill her while she remained human, Takeru refused, explaining that he did not shoot Brown when he was turning, but that Brown had shot himself, and that much like Brown had given him a choice, he chose to spare Laura rather than kill her on the spot. With the two of them crying, an almost zombified Laura ran away from Takeru because she doesn't want to hurt him, and Takeru wept before running back to help the others.

After Zǐlì revealed herself to be a spy for the Shén Yà Pharmaceutical corporation and proceeded to torture Takeru for information by dangling him over a massive pit in the facility and striking him repeatedly with a lead pipe, Takeru was unexpectedly saved by a now zombified Laura when she snuck up and bit Zǐlì causing both girls to plummet to the bottom of the pit.
Several weeks after the incident on Zanahoria Island, it is revealed that Laura survived from the fall, as by chance she landed in some water near the bottom of the pit and was swept out to sea, before eventually making her way back to shore.
Appearance/Wardrobe[]
Laura was a tall and beautiful woman with blonde hair that reached her chest. She wore a one piece swimsuit that interlocked yellow straps above her chest and around her midriff near her navel with circle like connectors. She wore bracelets on her wrist and one arm bracelet on her left arm, she also wears a necklace with a blue diamond in the middle. For footwear She wore gladiator sandals going up to her knees.
