found in the sanctuary of the tunnels, by either Alpha team's Chris or Jill. When he sees Chris, he believes the latter to be the traitor, and raises his gun. However, Enrico did not see Wesker; the actual traitor, sneak around the corner, and was fatally shot. His last word: "Umbrella", gave Chris a hint as to who was behind the events at the Spencer Mansion. If Jill encounters him, he will not suspect her as being the traitor, rather, he tries informing her of what he's learned, but ends up fatally shot just the same.

In the 1996 Resident Evil, the Hexagonal Crank can be obtained after being dropped, presumably by Wesker, in the midway of the passage. Shortly after the player approaches it, one hunter will appear.

In the 2002 Remake, the Hexagonal Crank can be obtained immediately after examining Enrico's body. When the player is about to leave the South Passage, one hunter will appear.
