Terrace (tentative) is a cutscene in the 2002 remake of Resident Evil.

Plot

Jill Valentine and Barry Burton find the body of Forest Speyer.

Trigger

To trigger this scene, the player must have not gotten the Broken Shotgun or attempted to get the Shotgun and triggered the Ceiling Trap. Jill must also have not met Barry in the Entrance Hall and gotten the Acid Shells from him. After getting the Armor Key, Jill will need to open the door leading to the Terrace on the 2nd Floor of the Entrance Hall. Then walk toward the end of the room and you will see Barry standing with Forest's body. Barry will then give Jill Forest's Grenade Launcher. Make sure you have an empty inventory space to receive the weapon.

Jill Valentine: "Speak for yourself, Barry. What are you doing here?"

Barry: "Yeah, well... You should take a look at this."
"It's Forest."

Jill: "What could've done this to him?"

Barry: "God only knows... but I'm going to find out what did this to him. Jill,
could you investigate other areas?"

Jill: "Yeah, sure."

Barry: "Jill... This is no longer useful to Forest. We don't know what's going
to happen... Take it with you."

Barry: "I still can't believe it..."

Barry Burton: ジル！　おどかすなよ

Jill Valentine: それはこっちのセリフよ

Barry: ああ
