Zombie Cop is an action figure based on the Resident Evil 2 "Zombie Cop" enemies, and was manufactured by Palisades for their second series of Resident Evil action figures.[1] It comes in two variants; one in a white shirt, the other in blue.

The package consists of the titular figurine, a zombified Raccoon police officer, along with a second figurine of a Licker. The Zombie Cop was sculpted by Jon Matthews, while the Licker was sculpted by "SOTA Sculpture & Design". The Zombie Cop comes equipped with a handgun, the ".38 Police Special", and "police gear".

As with the other Palisades Resident Evil products, the back of the box has a "secure file" detailing the character. These blurbs are not part of Capcom's canon and may be speculative or take information from other sources such as the WildStorm comics or the S.D. Perry novels.

G-Virus infected officers of the Raccoon City Police Department. Varying in size and strength, these monsters are to be found in and around the department headquarters of the city. Although slow moving and a low threat risk, when encountered in close quarters they can be quite dangerous. Be advised that other mutant creatures, known as "Lickers" for their sharp and whip-like tongues, are often encountered in close proximity to the Zombie Cop. Always keep your eyes above you as Lickers are known to drop down unexpectedly from dark corners of the ceiling!

Zombie Cop[]
The figure stands about 6 inches in height and features a wide array of articulation. Rotation joints on the figure include the hips on a T-crotch, ankles, waist, upper arms, and the right wrist. The head and shoulders are on a ball joint and capable of being moved into a variety of positions. The figure comes with police gear which can be placed on any of the pegs on the belt though some pieces work better on certain pegs than others. In addition to the police gear, the figure also comes with a ".38 Police Special" revolver which can be placed in the gun holster that comes as part of the police gear. The ".38 Police Special" can be held by the Zombie Cop but being a zombie it doesn't make much sense. However, most other human figures in the line can hold the revolver, with the exception of Albert Wesker.
Licker[]
The Licker figure stands about half the height of a human figure and features rotatable shoulders, and hips. The head is on a ball joint and can be posed into a variety of posiitions. The tongue, although not posable, is made out of a soft plastic.

- The blue shirt variant is rarer than the white shirt variant despite most of the ingame zombie cops in RE2 featuring blue shirts.The Blue shirt variant was packaged in a ratio of 1 in a case of 12 figures. This was a decision made by Capcom, not Palisades. This may have been done due to the official concept art featuring a zombie cop in a white shirt.
