The shed (納屋 naya)[1] is an area of the Spencer Mansion, separating the mansion, proper from its courtyard.
Description[]
It is a small shed that connects the mansion to the courtyard. The room is lit by a light on the ceiling. It contains gardening supplies, boxes, and barrels.
In the 2002 Remake small steps that link to the graveyard path entry have been added.

1996[]
The small steps can be pushed below the shelf in order to retrieve the crank.
2002[]
Unlike the original version, the crank will not be available here instead it can be found elsewhere. A first aid spray, shotgun shells and a flash grenade (Battery pack as Jill) can be obtained from the pots.
After returning here from the Dormitory, a note from Wesker or Barry Burton (depending if you're playing as Chris or Jill) is posted on the wall reminding the player that he dropped some items and has fixed the doorknob for the East staircase door.
