"Although small in size, it appears to have some value." — Item examination |
The Spinel is a very common jewel found many times throughout Resident Evil 4 in the village and Salazar Castle. They are not found on the island. It can be sold to the Merchant for 2,000₧, and has no other functions in the game.[1]
The rarity and value of Spinels was increased significantly in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, as they now have a new function as a secondary currency. They can occasionally be found randomly in crates and from enemies, but are obtained primarily through completing requests for the Merchant.
