The Patrol Boat is a cutscene in Resident Evil 5. The twenty-ninth in the game, it is played during Chapter 3-3. All cutscenes for the game were storyboarded by yU+co. artist, Jerry Bingham.[1]
Plot[]
Exiting into a marsh, the BSAA party spots Irving's patrol boat, and Josh narrowly maneuvers the speedboat slightly to avoid being sunk. A Majini on the hydrofoil opens fire with mounted machine guns. To secure entry, Josh speeds forward while Chris takes out the gunner. While the two BSAA agents get aboard, Irving thinks about a prior conversation he had with the cloaked figure.
Earlier, this figure asked sternly what he would do about the troublesome BSAA before he even left with his gold reward. Irving called her a "plaything" of Excella, and in a chokehold, the dealer announced he would deal with them and was presented with a syringe if all else failed.
Irving is aghast that the two BSAA agents won't just die already, as they are ruining his reputation. Irving knows bio-weapon research does not produce itself and is concerned that everyone is looking down on him. He takes out the syringe the cloaked individual gave him. Sheva warns him not to use it, but Irving infects himself with the syringe of Las Plagas anyway. It begins to overtake his body, releasing tentacles from his body, considering himself beyond anything they could ever become and disappears into the water.
What emerges from the lake seconds later is a massive aquatic monster with tentacles, with Chris in awe of it. On the gullet of this monstrosity is Irving, who revels in his transformation.

Josh Stone: "Oh shit!"
Chris Redfield: Damn it! They're gonna to sink us!
Josh: "We've got to do something!"
Chris: "We gotta get aboard that ship!"
Josh: "Hold on! Get ready!"
Jill Valentine (flashback): "What are you going to do about them?"
Ricardo Irving (flashback): "You're just one of Excella's playthings!"
Irving (flashback): "It was your master who was--"
Jill (flashback): One more time! What are you going to do about them?"
Irving (flashback): "Alright! Alright! I'll handle it."
Jill (flashback): "Use it."
Irving (flashback): "This?"
Irving: "Won't you two just die already!? You're making me look bad! Who do you think got this entire operation off the ground? Research like this doesn't fund itself, you know. Yet everyone looks down on me. But not anymore."
Sheva: "Don't do it!"
Irving: "I'm far beyond anything you could ever hope to become!"
Chris: "Shit."
Irving: "I just had an extreme make-over!"
Josh Stone: 「しまった！！」

Josh: 「ここから どうする！？」
Chris: 「こっちから乗り込む！」
Josh: 「わかった つかまってろ！」
Jill Valentine (flashback): 「後始末はどうするの」

Jill (flashback): 「後始末はどうする！」
Irving (flashback): 「わかった！ わかったよ！ ケリはつける」
Jill (flashback): 「使いなさい」
Irving (flashback): 「これは？」
Irving: 「さっさとくたばってりゃいいものを！」
「人の顔も泥を塗りやがって」
「あいつら 誰のお陰で計画が進めれたと思ってんだ」
「金を集めたのは 俺様だぞ！」
「どいつもこいつも……」
「馬鹿しやがって……」
Sheva: 「諦めなさい！」
Irving: 「俺はな…… そめえらクズとは違うんだよ！」
Chris: 「くそ！」
Irving: 「俺様をコケにした 事を後悔しろ！」
