Wesker's Return is a cutscene in Resident Evil 5. The thirty-third in the game, it is played during Chapter 4-1. All cutscenes for the game were storyboarded by yU+co. artist, Jerry Bingham.[1]
Plot[]
Excella briefs Wesker on the preparations for Uroboros before planning departure. She injects him with PG67A/W while telling of how successful Las Plagas was and was doubtful at first on how the tests would be. With her position at Tricell secure, Excella wonders if she would be Wesker's queen in his new world. Wesker replys a maybe, while the cloaked individual reports of the BSAA intruders. Undeterred, Wesker does not wish to see delays in his plans. As he thinks about his last conversation with Oswell E. Spencer before killing him, he thanks him for the right to be a god as he surveys a stockpile of Uroboros rockets readying for deployment.
Transcription[]
Excella Gionne: "The preparations are almost complete. Then, we can leave."
Albert Wesker: "Good."
Excella: "You know, I was surprised Las Plagas was such a success. When you first arrived, I had my doubts. And now, Uroboros is complete."
Wesker: "Your position at Tricell is secured."
Excella: "Oh, I have my eyes set on something much bigger. You'll be needing a partner, right? Someone suitable to join you in your new world. I believe I have proven I'm worthy, haven't I?"
Wesker: "Perhaps you have."
Jill Valentine: "The BSAA are here."
Excella: "It appears your old friend Chris Redfield has come to pay a visit. Do I sense concern?"
Wesker: "The plan is in its final stages, I will not tolerate delays."
Oswell E. Spencer (flashback): "...a new superior breed of humans... creating a new world... the Progenitor virus... You!... I was to become a god!..."
Wesker (flashback): "That right... is now mine."
Wesker: "I believe I should thank you, Spencer."

Wesker: 「計画は最終段階だ 遅れるな」
Oswell E. Spencer (flashback): 「……新人類の創造……新世界創生……」
「始祖ウィルス……」
