The Flash Grenade is an item in Resident Evil 4.[1] While it shares the same shape as the Incendiary Grenade, it is distinguishable by its unique shade of blue.
Gameplay[]
When thrown, the Flash Grenade emits a blinding burst of light that disorients and stuns nearby Ganados. This temporary daze provides players with the opportunity to execute their melee attacks on the affected enemies. Additionally, the Flash Grenade is particularly effective against Crows and exposed Plagas, instantly killing them upon impact. This makes it a valuable weapon to have on hand, especially when facing tougher enemies like Colmillos and Armaduras. It's worth noting that the Flash Grenade takes up two blocks of inventory space. It's also possible to sell these grenades for 500₧, although it's generally recommended to keep a few in reserve for difficult situations.
In the Mercenaries minigame, both Jack Krauser and Albert Wesker start with a supply of three Flash Grenades each.

- In Resident Evil 4, a Flash Grenade will not kill the exposed Plaga from the back of El Gigante.
- Garradors, due to their blindness, are immune to the effects of Flash Grenades and will charge at the player if one is used.
