The "Flying creature", or "flying enemy" (飛行敵,hikō teki?) was a creature planned to appear in Resident Evil 6, but was ultimately dropped early on in development. At this stage of development, an aerial enemy was required due to gameplay involving the player defending a helicopter. Its design was based on the plume moth, to counter the large variety in humanoid enemies owing to the many C-Zombie and Javo variations.[1]
