- G infants (G幼体 G yōtai) are referred to as "G-Imago" in the English version of Resident Evil Outbreak. An "Imago" is an insect that has almost completed its metamorphosis and visibly and biologically resembles the adult but without wings.
- In the same game, G-Infants' design is radically different to that of both Resident Evil 2 and Darkside Chronicle: They have a slightly serpentine body with eyeless domed heads an a pair of arms, giving them an eerie resemblance to Xenomorphs's chestburster stage from the Alien franchise.
