As a mutant variety of Hunter, the Glimmers were human-animal hybrids. Their body shape was frog-like, comparable to the amphibian Hunter Gamma. Their unique feature was that of red compound eyes which grew above its mouth, though they were photosensitive and Glimmers consequently kept themselves in dark spaces.[1][excerpt 1] To quickly digest food, Glimmers produced excessive amounts of stomach acids, and could vomit on threats as a defence mechanism.
