Transcript
After William Birkin transferred to the Raccoon City underground laboratory, John replaced him as senior researcher at the Arklay laboratory, and took over the B.O.W. (Bio-Organic Weapon) research project.
Although he was a gifted scientist, the inhumanity of his research took its toll and he began to shun his superiors. He would find some solace in his girlfriend Ada Wong. In the end John would ironically fall victim to the T-Virus.
ウィリアム・バーキンのラクーンシティ地下研究所転任後、アークレイ研究所に主任研究員として赴任しB.O.W.（生物兵器）の開発計画を引き継ぐ。
優秀でありながら非人道的な研究には否定的で、上層部に煙たがられていた彼の心の支えになっていたのは恋人のエイダ・ウォンであった。が、しかし皮肉にも「t-ウィルス」に感染してしまう。
