Jun'ichi Miyashita (宮下準一 miyashita jun'ichi ) is a Japanese writer who worked for Flagship from its founding in 1998 until its closing.
Career[]
Miyashita graduated from the Yokohama Broadcasting Film College, now the Japan Institute of the Moving Image. His debut work in screenwriting was on the 1979 detective drama, Seibu Keisatsu, where he co-wrote an episode under Hideichi Nagahara.
In 1998 Miyashita was hired by Capcom as writing support for their Flagship subsidiary, alongside fellow tokusatsu writers Noboru Sugimura; Hirohisa Soda; Susumu Takaku and Shōzō Uehara, who all worked together on writing the script to the audio drama BIO HAZARD DRAMA ALBUM ~The Doomed Raccoon City~ VOL.1. He later worked on BIO HAZARD DRAMA ALBUM ~The Doomed Raccoon City~ VOL.2 and BIOHAZARD 2 DRAMA ALBUM ~The Little Runaway Sherry~.
Miyashita is also credited with assisting in the scenario drafting for Resident Evil CODE:Veronica;[1] Resident Evil 0[2] and Resident Evil: Dead Aim.[3]
