Leon S. Kennedy is an action figure that was produced by Palisades as part of their Series 1 line of Resident Evil toys.[1] The toy was sculpted by Jon Matthews.[2] A Zumbo Toys variant of this toy was also produced, showing Leon in bandages after he was shot in Resident Evil 2.

Features[]

The package consists of a figurine of Leon S. Kennedy, along with model weapons for him to carry. The accessories are a 12-gauge shotgun; Leon's signature handgun, the Matilda, complete with an optional snap-on stock; a MAC-10 with a suppressor; a combat knife and a base for the figure to stand on. Unlike the human figures in series 2 and 3, Leon's sculpt and articulation seem only suited for holding and pointing weapons. Because of his hunched over position he doesn't look all that great in other poses. Leon's articulation includes rotation joints on the waist, wrists, upper legs and ankles, ball joints on the arms and neck, and bending joints at the elbows and knees.

Leon cannot move his arms outward very much because the shoulder pads on his uniform limit his movement. The Matilda stock seems to be another issue as it seems Leon is unable to hold the Matilda with the stock on. Additionally, the pegs that hook the stock in are very fragile and may break.
