Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is the third crossover game between Marvel and Capcom. Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield are the two characters representing Resident Evil in this game. Jill Valentine also became available for download on March 15, 2011. In the updated version, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Nemesis is also playable. The game was later succeeded by Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite (released on September 19, 2017), where Chris Redfield and Nemesis return, in which the former plays a major role in the game's story mode.
Plot
Doctor Doom and Albert Wesker make alliance with the greatest villains of the Marvel and Capcom universes with intention to conquer both . However, this course of action awakens Galactus,cosmic entity from Marvel Universe,who intends to consume and destroy both worlds. It is up to the heroes of the Marvel and Capcom universes to put an end to this evil before it is too late.
