The training yard[1] was a large, empty field used by the training camp. In the 1998 Rockfort Island outbreak, the Gulp Worm was first encountered here. Chris Redfield encountered Hunters here after the island's self-destruct system was activated.

Three zombie dogs are faced here during the first visit. A bow gun arrows can be found on the barrel at the middle of the training yard.
