Monitored Communications is a cutscene in Resident Evil 5. It is played during Chapter 5-2. All cutscenes for the game were storyboarded by yU+co. artist, Jerry Bingham.[1]
Plot[]
While riding an elevator, Chris overhears Excella telling someone about the preparations for Uroboros, then that person tells her to take care of the intruders. Excella also wonders how Albert is holding up on his virus strength. Chris is aghast to hear that Albert Wesker survived his fall years ago.
Transcript[]
Excella Gionne: "...boros has... loaded"
"Don't worry. The reserve supply is almost ready."
Sheva Alomar: "I know that voice."
Chris Redfield: "It's Excella."
Excella: "That's... Albert... looking forward..."
Chris: "Albert!?"
Sheva: "What?"
Excella: "And how are you holding up, Albert?"
Chris: "Shit! Wesker... I thought he was dead...
Excella Gionne: 「…ロス…の運搬は……了したわ……」
「ええ… もうすぐ予備の薬も準備できるわ」
Sheva Alomar: 「この声は ちっきの……」
Chris Redfield: 「ああ エクセラだ」
Excella: 「あと……アルバート…………楽し……」
Chris: 「アルバートだと！？」
Sheva: 「……ねえ……体の……」
Excella: 「どうしたの？」
Chris: 「クソッ！ まさかウェスカー…」
「いや そんなはずは……」
