(Capcom's primary storyline)
Nanan Yoshihara was a student from Marhawa Academy and the daughter of a chef at Bennett University. She is, with Bindi Bergara, one of the antagonists (even if she's not bad by herself) of Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire.
Little is known about her except that her father, who was manager of a worldwide known restaurant, fell into bankruptcy. He managed to find a job at Bennett University as a chef, but was far from earning the same revenues and fell into debt to maintain his daughter's enrollment in Marhawa Academy. This is why she was rejected by literally every student. They couldn't bear that a poor man's daughter was attending the same school as them. At some point, when she was outcast by others, she reported it to Mother Gracia who didn't take it seriously.
Meeting with BindiEdit
On the first day of her third year she is approached by Bindi Bergara who was trying to befriend her. She told Bindi that it would be better to stay away from her and later on that day, she showed her why she should. Her desk was completely soiled. But it didn't stop Bindi. Nanan tells her why she is rejected and that she didn't intend to let it go.
The day after she showed the entire class that she is stronger than she looks by breaking Ra-Na Bee's desk with a single punch, threatening with a smile to tell her who is responsible for her harassment. Ra-Na, completely scared, designated Alisa, whom Nanan threaten to kick if it happens again.
Alisa didn't take the threat seriously as she burst into Nanan's room with five others students to give her a lesson. The bullies proved to be no match for Nanan. She managed to defeat them but suffered several injuries. She went to Bindi's room, as Bindi was the only one whom Nanan could trust, to let her tend her wounds. Bindi later reports this to Mother Gracia, but instead of calling the police, Gracia covered up the incident.
This lack of reaction made Nanan and Bindi decide to run away from the Academy.
Escape and deathEdit
Before their escape, Nanan and Bindi sabotaged many of the Academy's vehicles. They manage to run far away before Gracia's guardsmen find them (there were other vehicles hidden unknown to Bindi). Nanan manages to take down several guards before Bindi is recaptured. She keeps up the fight even after receiving a stun rod hit, but slips off the rock and fall to her death. Bindi and Nanan's body were taken back to the academy by the guards, and Nanan's death was covered up saying that she was transferred to another school.
Resurrection & VengeanceEdit
Bindi later retrieves Nanan's corpse from the infirmary and injects it with a syringe containing the C-Virus that a hooded woman gives to her. Nanan's body turned into a chrysalid and eventually she became the first Lepotica.
Bindi then uses Nanan, dissimulated by a black coat, to slowly infect the Academy. She uses her to infect Ra-Na and Alisa, and at some point she escapes Bindi's vigilance to go to the undergrounds to infect five workers where Bindi later finds her. After that, Bindi sent her to infect students at the Marhawa's Festival to unleash a total panic on the Academy. She was later spotted by Kapoor on the school roof where she fought Ricky, Doug and Kapoor. She manages to severely wound Doug and to infect Kapoor and then she comes back to Bindi's room.
Bindi executes her revenge on Mother Gracia by making Nanan infect almost the entire Academy, including Ricky's uncle Doug.
After that she meets her demise at the hands of Chris Redfield in the school's underground, where he manages to overpower her and slice her in half. When a highly transformed Bindi found the remains of her friend she became infuriated and followed them to their escape route. During the fight Bindi let Nanan, who is still alive, fall on the ground. When the BSAA members manage to get rid of Bindi, Nanan launches her tentacles towards Piers Nivans but hit Merah Biji instead, severely wounding her. She grabs the helicopter during the take-off but is obliterated by Piers who is manipulating a heavy machine-gun.
Nanan's Lepotica form differs from the ones encountered in Resident Evil 6. She still retains her human appearance, but with pores covering up her left side. Aside from that, she also has expandable arms, being able to grab and stab a victim with it as well as releasing infectious gas.
