The Outdoor area is an area of the Spencer Mansion located on the North-east wing.
It is a L-shaped passage composed of stone pavement, leading to a rusty old boiler. Two barrels are placed next to the boiler. A howl of a wolf from a distance can be heard from here.
In the 2002 remake, the passage is brightened up by the sconces placed on the wall. There is a wheelbarrow on the turning before the boiler.
In either Chris or Jill's scenario, one Cerberus will jump onto the passage as the player approaches the rusty boiler. The player can find six green herbs besides the boiler. As the player is about to leave the outdoor area, another Cerberus will jump onto the passage
In the remake, two Cerberuses can be seen outside the gate, however they will jump inside the pavement if the player approaches the boiler. A Chemical can be retrieved from the wheelbarrow. The player can also find red and green herbs next to the boiler.
