Episode 25 (第25話 Dai 25-wa ) is the twenty-fifth chapter in the Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire manga series. It was first published in Issue #7 of the Weekly Shōnen Champion Extra's 2013 series, but was later on re-published in the fourth tankōbon volume on May 8.
Ricky finally gets the courage to euthanise his infected uncle; the gunshot echoes across the school, and Merah emotionally slams her fist down in the Teacher's Room. The surviving students (at least sixteen) have flocked to the school cathedral to pray. The door explodes into pieces as Bindi makes her entrance. Merah continues exploring the Teacher's Room, where she finds Bindi's student record.
Back in the infirmary, Ricky collapses onto his uncle's corpse and cries further. Chris looks through the room and sees the letter left on his bed - "From Gracia to Doug". He presents it to Ricky. In the letter, Gracia apologises for allowing her authority get to her and places all blame for the resulting biohazard entirely on her shoulders. She continues, telling Doug and Ricky to head off to the underground control room that will provide them access to an emergency helicopter. Ricky remembers the control room, and offers to take Chris there; Chris sees the helicopter as an opportunity to locate and pick up any stranded survivors. As they get read to go, Chris hands over a box of 9x19mm Parabellum rounds, since Ricky used up all of his shooting his uncle. Ricky promises to his uncle that he will get through this.
The two exit the infirmary and set off for the control room, but are quickly cornered as zombies burst out through doors and into the corridor. Back outside, Merah takes out a group of zombified students, noticing the large hole in the door to the church. Wondering just what could have done that to such a heavy door, she goes inside to investigate. Bindi stands amongst the dead, laughing about how late their saviour is. Merah tries to arrest Bindi as a key suspect in the case, but she refuses to allow the BSAA operative to get in the way of her divine mission. If she resists arrest, Merah warns, she'll treat her like any B.O.W. and shoot on sight...
