Further notes
  • Rebecca's overall appearance in Resident Evil Zero was modeled after popstar Ayumi Hamasaki, who was the official spokeswoman for Biohazard 0 in Japan.
  • In Resident Evil 2, when you walk into the S.T.A.R.S. office, search the desk at the head of the room about fifty times and you will uncover a film. When it is developed, it is a picture of Rebecca in a basketball uniform.
  • Although being bitten by an Eliminator, she was not infected with the t-Virus.
  • Rebecca Chambers was the most disliked female character for series director Shinji Mikami due to her submissive personality. He initially didn't intend to include her in the game, although the staff insisted on creating her.
  • In Resident Evil, Rebecca was voiced by Lynn Harris, who was also the voice director for the game.[1]
  • In the English localization of Resident Evil Archives and Resident Evil Archives II, a translation error indicated that Rebecca Chambers had been killed by the time of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. In the Japanese version of both files, she was actually listed as alive.
  • Her fate in the Rebecca dies segment of Chris's scenario varies depending on whether it was the 1996 original game or the 2002 remake. In the 1996 version, she is decapitated completely by the Hunter. In the 2002 remake, she instead has her throat slit via a swipe of the Hunter's arm.

WardrobeEdit

In the original Resident Evil, Rebecca is seen wearing her S.T.A.R.S. uniform, a green T-shirt and pants with a white bulletproof vest. The red cross symbol is printed on the back of her vest to indicate that she is a medic. She also wears green, fingerless gloves and boots. She also wore a red headband, pink choker, and white earrings, the first of which has been omitted in all of her subsequent appearances.

In the Arranged Mode featured in Resident Evil: Director's Cut, she wore a streamlined, burgundy-colored version of her uniform, which consisted of shorts and a T-shirt. In the Resident Evil remake, her alternate costume is a cowgirl outfit consisting of a brown cowboy vest, boots and jeans shorts. This costume was carried over to Resident Evil Zero along with another alternate costume consisting of leather pants and a halter top with long fingerless gloves. In Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, she had an alternate costume of a cheerleader uniform.

In her latest appearance in the movie, Resident Evil: Vendetta, Her brown hair is now in a shorter bob with a full fringe and as stated by Glenn Arias after he succeeded in capturing her, she resembles his deceased wife, Sarah Arias.

In her initial appearance as the biotechnology professor, she wears a white long lab coat, underneath she wears a light teal v-neck sweater jacket with a white long sleeve button shirt with a red neck tie on the collar, blue jeans and brown flats. She is also seen wearing reading glasses to match her outfit. Her outfit is a reminiscent of William Birkin's outfit in Resident Evil 2.

After being rescued by Chris and his new group and later being kidnapped by Maria Gomez in Glenn's orders, Rebecca wears the same outfit as in the first Resident Evil but updated; her green short sleeved shirt is darker and now appears as a long-v-neck with a red sleeveless undershirt and her pants are now blue. She also retains her white bulletproof vest and no longer have the red cross symbols printed on the back which she became a BSAA operative, her fingerless gloves are now brown and no longer wears a choker on her neck. Her white bulletproof vest finally gains a notable change with a green lines in each sides and gains a radio at the left side.

At the time of her kidnapping and being rescued by Chris in the end of the movie, she was seen wearing a wedding gown with the long sleeves are designed similar to a wedding veil and the skirt of her gown is long to match the sleeves she was barefeet. The cloth from her long skirt is later removed to reveal the white short skirt from her wedding gown when she was infected by her own virus strain.
