The Reception is a location in the Resident Evil 2 remake and Resident Evil 3 remake.

In order to unlock this room and the access to the west side of the first floor of the police station, the player must have a knife in their inventory. On the [2nd] run however, the way is already open.
Next to the reception counter is a green herb, on the couch to the right, closest to the counter is handgun ammo on the [1st] run or Large-caliber Handgun Ammo on the [2nd]. On the couch on the left, furthest from the counter are wooden boards, but only when playing on the Assisted mode.
While there are no enemies in this room by default, they can freely enter it with no delay due to there being no door in-between this area and the Main Hall.
