Grasp -> Glasp[]

There's really no indication that it is a mistranslation. Since it's literally the same romanization one way or another (Gurasupu) it's the translator's preference. It's not like it's adding a new stuff or something, or omitting a fact or changing a name. It's literally the same word written in equally valid ways. Only one is the official translation and the other is the translation of fan. Unless we have confirmation that the Japanese version intended it to be read as "Grasp", it should stay this way.

Also, it's also not like we regularly fix official misuse of the English language. "Nemesis-T Type" comes to mind. -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 03:00, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

"Glasp" is not a word, just like how "Ozwell" is not a name. It's the age-old L and R confusion at work. --News Bot (talk) 09:41, March 5, 2015 (UTC)
So what should "Sploder" and "Vulcanblubber" be, since those aren't actually words either?
Those are slang, so they are fine. "Glasp" is not slang in any language, it's a very simple mistranslation thanks to the common L/R mistake in Japanese. --News Bot (talk) 18:06, March 5, 2015 (UTC)
I have it on good authority that "Glasp" is a portmanteau of the words "Glass" (referring to their invisibility) and "Grasp" (referring to their manner of attack). So it is intentional. --Zero-ELEC (talk) 23:40, March 6, 2015 (UTC)
That makes sense. It's dumb that it wasn't obvious. Not exactly something you can just tell. --News Bot (talk) 11:36, March 7, 2015 (UTC)
